Fancy cut scissors from Jesslyn! Aint she nice? She got it as an early xmas gift for me. These scissors are interchangable and adds variety to any art work!

And my 5th shadow box.. a xmas gift to my aunt and uncle. This picture was stolen by my cousin (their daughter) and sent to me while they're away in Genting with my parents.. kekeke.. I love this pic.. taken when they were in Hokkaido during the mooncake festival. Autumn in Hokkado.. You guys should check out the scenery there!
And yes, I am crazy about dollie paper.. My mum asked, ' why always muz put the curtain har?'
Cos it doesnt feel complete without it! kekekekeke....

I love the young vibes from it!

The third shadow box...

Popped by Paper market after work to get my stock of the tape glue refill and guess what I found? The alpha wooden stamps that was out of stock! i couldnt stop myself and i bot both upper caps and lower caps. Small little ink pad to compliment the wooden stamps. Now, I can journal without getting upset with my handwriting! :)

With the replenishment of my tape glue, out came my buddy's prezzie! Nice? Had a great time distressing the papers and the dolly. I gave up on the dolly, so difficult to make it look round around the rectangular photo. This the best I can do. I hope he likes it.. gona pass to him on 7th Dec 09. Abit early to complete you might say, but hey, i have much more prezzies awaiting me to complete!

Done! The 4th! Tadah.....

Family! Thats the theme of the LO. i'm trying to achieve a autumn season feel, thus the fallen leaves at the bottom. They're in autumn colors too.. notice? Inspired by my aunt's photos taken in Hokkaido in Oct..

Do you see the 'twigs' above, I twisted the barcode strip that comes with the paper and distressed it with my brow distress ink. An idea at that moment and I love it. My first invention!
Autumn leaves! I painstakingly cut out each leave by itself and stick them onto the base of the paper (the original autumn leaves paper) and some are on pop-ups. Highlighted some with sticklers (glitter) and some with glossy accent to add some dimensions.

Dolly paper (the ones used to put the cake for baking) was used to highlight the title. The cardstock (background paper) was dull and thus it was difficult to make the title show. And yes, I had already stuck my 'house' down so i had to slowly peel the house out to slip the ends of the dolly in..
The journally card that I made and hid it behind the dolly. A layout is never complete without journally and I'm tryin to do it coz I really hate my handwriting. (thus, the hidding behind the dolly)
This is the roof that I did, bit by bit, using strips of paper. Do you like it? Ro says its unique. But he didnt praise the whole layout... Autumn leaves fell from the trees and got stuck on the roof..
Laced the edge to soften the feel. Perhaps I shld have distressed the strips of paper to make the house look older?

Hope you like this... Alot of firsts.. first twigs, first handmade roofs, first use of glossy accent to accentuate the bellies, first use of dolly and first journally! Took me a total of 6 - 7 hours in front of the telly to complete this... Yea. I love to multi-task!
Sneaks of more xmas prezzies below!

More experiments this time.. The above, glossy accent was used. My first try, thus the bubbles :P Others, will reveal when the whole LO is done

Done! Fun-Tas-Tic!!

Layout 1: Shrek!

I love this picture of button with the Shrek hairband. I remember i put him on the table and made him pose with the hairband and took a pic of him using my hp. He still has this hairband and he loves playing with it still, just not putting it on.

The title was dotted with the white pen. I guess my white pen is not up to standard coz the foam alpha absorbs the ink and the color is very light only.

Notice the black feltie monster and the one with the tall hat? I cant think of any name for them. Can you?
Hairy the super monster is on pop up! Pop up dots are used to give dimension and emphasis on layouts. I'm a fan of pop up dots. I always have at least 2 packet in stock :P

Do we name him toothie? or Wacky?

Layout 2: 1, 2, 3 Snap!

I chose these 3 pictures coz they were taken at the same time.

Notice button wink on the last picture? So fitting for the title rite? Snap and he winked!
Hairy the monster took center stage as he was on pop-up.

It is originally a sticker on its own but jasmine tot of adding the alphas on top to make it much more prominent!

I name this monster feltie bucky as he has 2 buck tooth! A pity there wasnt any Hairy feltie or it wld have been cute. See this pic. Aint button cute?
The white 'stitches' were doddled free hand and miss cock eye me cant do it straight, hence the slanted stitches. The various spikes took me some time to balance up. All seem to be pointing in the same direction. kekekeke..
Layout 3: Naughty Boy
3 different photos taken at different time.
From the left: Photo takene before he went to bed. he was sitting between his bed and my bro at the time of photo taking. Thank god the LO needed a small pic so juz nice, crop off the unwanted parts :)
Middle: Photo taken right after bathe. He had taken his cheese and is in a happy mood.
Right: A flower die-cut post it pad. Grandma's shopping list is on it. I was inspired by the photograph of my nephew Keegen, when they had stuck a sticker on his forehead. Button loves it though. He posed quite a number of photos for me that time.
Button's initial, 'B'
Title alphas are stuck onto a lined cardstock and matted with a red cardstock then after.
The middle pic is pop-uped to give some dimensions to the LO.
One-Eye Jacked Feltie adorns this LO!
Layout 4: Green Eyes?

Button's eyes always look green in pictures. in this one, they looked like emeralds!

The whole picture is on pop up.. Yep, i used ALOT of pop up dots..
The spikes frame was done freehand.. I love the outcome of it.

Toothy the felt monster and the closeup of the fame.

I ran out of 'e' and had to use '3' as the capital 'E'... Clever?? :)

I love Sassafrass now!

Fun-Tas-Tic 3

Went for fun-tas-tic 3 workshop today and it was fun!
(Yep, I went alone.. and yea, i liked it..)
Lots of different monster which were named by Jasmine, Eddy, Hairy and so on.. kekekeke..
Came back with 4 incomplete layouts.. whahaha...

This is the first layout, with Eddy the monster as the lead. Everyone took a long time cutting out the various clouds etc that this one left incomplete for us to bring home to do :P
We picked up speed on the 2nd layout and I manage to complete the layout sans the heading.. Mine was the most complete layout in class.. whahaha.. I tried damn hard to cut fast lor...
3rd layout with one-eye jack as the lead.. Notice one of the photo shows button with a post it note? He loves it.. whahaha... it was actually my mum's grocery list.. Again.. I manage to complet emost of it sans the header..

The very last LO is the most challenging to me. coz we had to freehand do the spikey frame. lots of us couldnt finish this and thank god i'm only left with the title again..

I hope to finish this up by tomorrow and perhaps, i might post the complete LOs up :)

Chip board Accents...

Found Cosmo Cricket's chipboard accent (Nutmeg) at paper market. Initially wanted to get it from MWL but it was out of stock. Saw the Early bird series and decided to get it too coz they were about cooking which I feel might be usable. :P

My 3rd layout.. All by myself...

A picture of me posing outside the spa at batam holiday inn during hte day. we had the spa at night, 9pm. our very first spa! for both ro & me.

Btw: this is the very famous layout tha tmade me decide never to scrap with Ro again.

I love this brand of paper, Webster pages. They always have flowers and animals on them. Check out the cute little deer.

I put lace underneath the header, so difficult to make it stay. Had to resort to using fabric glue. :P

Love the lace framing the photo. bought from Prints.

My first! tearing paper and curling them. I love this effect. might look beta if i distressed the edges to give it a burnt look. Hmm... Maybe next time..
