Good Days.. Great Teacher!

Went over to PS yesterday with Ro for our movie fix and I decided to head over to MWL to have a look at their class samples. I can never seem to be able to get a slot but I WAS LUCKY!

While I was salivating over Aida's mini album, the lady at the counter asked if I would like to take the class coz they have a slot for today! Happy Happy! No regrets!

Aida is one of the scrapper whom I would religiously follow on her blog as she is full of creative ideas and boy was I excited at attending a class taught by her. I love the class, everyone gets to work at their own pace, lots of useful tips from Aida and I love her soothing voice.. Now I sound like a stalker.. lol!

Still cant think of what photos to fill the album thus its is left blank like this. I gotta convince my mum to let me put her Japan photos in. lol! I love my new mini album!

Its so much fun....

when you're scrapping with friends.. Went over to Cindy's house on Saturday to scrap with her. My inspiration's back but just the carting of materials over almost killed me. Lol!

Using papers from Websters, Lullaby Lane: Leaps & Bounds for the background paper and Postcards from Paris : Tres Magique for the hot air balloons..

Applied stickles to my balloons and added a gem to the 'i' for Fashion..

Double lace to have the curtain effect on my Layout

Did not have a particular area for journalling thus I journalled around tha balloons. The journal reads: We always put Button in his snoppy jacket if we on the aircon. Woke up one morning to find him at my bedside, one arm out of the jacket. Looks like wearing a toga top. Talk about fashionista. He's wearing the trend even in his dreams.

Beautiful Monday!

I got featured on the layout of the week!

Check it out!

Banner, Handmade flowers and Pleats!

I'm striving to try out different things in my LOs and this time, I experimented with Banners, Handmade flowers and pleating! Three at one go! The Cosmo cricket papers suited my 'food' theme perfectly!

See my banner? I had fun making it. Perhaps the next to attempt making rectangular ones..

My fake stitches to make the scallops more eye catching..

See my pleats? Added them to create emphasis on my title.. This is done using the balance of the CC papers. The co-ordinating other side. :)

My first attempt at making the roses.. not too bad I feel but wonder why they didn't come out as nice as what MWL's design team has done :P Guess I need more practise!
