Gareth's Carousel

A gift for my best neighbour. A inspiration that struck when Jess told me that she is going for the carousel class. My trial and error project that went prefectly!

The cover and back of my carousel album. Chipboard cover proudly sponsored by Jess. I used the technique of covering chipboard up with pattern paper learnt in Pooi Pooi's class. Open it up and it is a full carousel full of Gareth's photos and little monsters.

The spine which I used gold MT tape to cover (compliments from the rak I won from Pooi Pooi). Ro helped ink Gareth's details onto the journalling card. Love my sewing on the album using Sew Easy which I bought on Thursday.

This is how the top and bottom should look like when closed. All pleats neatly folded in. Even the bottom frills would curl in nicely under the folded semi-circle. Oh my! I really love what I've done! LOL! May I should do one with a garden theme using the many Websters papers that I've hoard!

Blend, Blend, Blend your inks!

Never known that blending of inks can be that tiring.. It was a long workshop that consisted of blending and more blending.. Love the ultimate effect! Beautiful colors that makes me tempted to get yet more distress inks! Time to scrap more with the many new techniques learnt thus far!

How much of a hoarder am I?

This is all I have of scrapbook supplies. A small box of Prima flowers, MT and riboons. The most bottom box full of Cardstock and pattern papers together with thickers, chipboard tags/bellies. The box in the middle consist of my tool box which has my tools, my Making Memories tool box, all my adhesives, Corner/edge punchers, glimmer mist and paints. Still trying to cut down on my stash. I should scrap more!

... Mini Album for Ky...

The procrastinator in me had a sudden inspiration after buying badges alpha from MWL on thurs. And so, the very huge urge to scrap was released on Sunday 27th Feb 2011. LOL! Simply love how this Maya Road canvas covered chipboard album turned out. I took away the canvas as I wanted a simple and clean look which Cinn Mummy prefers. Just glad I kept the cut-out from Sassafrass. Prefer use on the cover!

Theme of the album? How to celebrate birthdays! This is page one with the flap closed.

Step One: Sing a birthday song. That's important! Look at the 2 cakes.. Mini cake decorated by Cinn Mummy.. Nice yeah?

Step two, blow the candle out. I just loveeee that all the photos prefectly match my theme!

Step three, cut the cake and enjoy!

Clever Ky knows how to cut the cake!

My favourite picture! Delia took this photo of Ky when we having his birthday dinner together.. Hey sexy lips!

Ky trying out his gap jeans.. He has outgrown his previous pair and now they're capris on him.

Isn't him the best looking boy you have seen thus far?

I swear this young man is an adult trap in a baby's body. He even knows how to read the menu!

Hot mama Cindy.. Ky is a photocopy of her!

LOL! I know! No shy right? But hey! It's for his memory! When he grows up, he'll know we celebrated his first birthday with him!

Toto & Win Win~!

A little project done on the 3rd day of Chinese New Year. Poor Ro's concussed on the bed after taking the cough med, leaving me plenty of time and space to scrap. This is Toto Girl, Button's cousin. A female shih tzu at age 5 this year.

Love the nice princessy crown. Just nice for a princess like her!

Ribbon's courtesy of Pooi Pooi. I won the rak from her and it includes this beautiful ribbon!

Did you notice this cute little bird atop the tree?

Glimmer misted the background for more texture.

Here is Winwin Boy. Toto and Button's cousin and is the same age as Toto. He's a cute wiper-tailed Maltese. He's forever happy with his tail wagging like a wiper, sometimes even swipping Button's face accidentally!

My very last shadow box in stock. Love the layers!

I didn't have glitter paper hence, I used stickles on my cardstock, left it to dry before pasting the quote on it.

Cute little birdie looking at the sign!

Don't you find the apple tree like the one that Hello Kitty always has? Cute to the max!

~ I Do ~

A scrap challenge between my colleagues in the office and I. Jesslyn had a sketch picked out and we are to scrap using it. I chose this photo of my wedding on 10th Oct 2010. Not a photo that was posed and of both of us looking great but this particular moment. The reason for our smile and laughter? We used to joke that after signing on the dotted line, half his assets are mine. That was the joke behind this photo. LOL!

Breaking out my stash from long ago, I found this nice embellishment 'I Do'.

My daiso lace and trims are also hoarded since I just started scrapping.

Love love love this prima vines. I almost changed my mind of using it, thinking to just keep it. hahahaha.. The hoarder in me..
