Have you heard?

Made with Love, my absolutely favourite-est scrapbook store is opening three slots for Guest Designers!

Details: here

Every month, the guest designer will get a kit with a selection of products and a $30 voucher to spend on supplies you like for your project.

Talk about FOC hobbies! LOL! I hope I'll be picked but judging by my standard it would be hard. But no harm trying eh? Just need to post my LOs regularly in their gallery and they would inform if I'm chosen. Easy isn't it. Just keep to my normal scrapping pace and cross my fingers...

Wish me luck!

Oh, and do join in the fun! Come scrap with me!

I love misting!

I finally scrap the LO of my buddy's wedding following Lena's scrap challenge and I love it! use lots of lace and even tried misting with my new Tim Holtz glimmer mist mask.

Broke out my new stash of Prima flowers. Gorgeous isn't it? The range is in for crochet flowers and I add it behind my Prima to make the flower look big. Do you spot my hambly behind? It gave the alpha and flowers more emphasis. I likey!

My first attempt at using the mask. I love this blue mist! Thought it looked like waves but the blue matches my LO frame!

Ran out of 'R' and modified an 'N'. Kekeke.. I love modifications!

Cut out the frame on the Prima papers, applied glossy accent on the 'frame' printed on the paper and on the birds and flowers and lined with lace all over! I love the layers effect that the lace added. Lovely! Hope the overall effect is bright and bold enough for the challenge!

Nothing like I imagined...

I had wanted to scrap a simple romantic LO but seems like its just not in me. Anything simple that I try comes out looking much too simple or crudely put, crappy. This is the best I can do. Still crappy I know but to me, at an acceptable standard. My experiment at tuning the hues and color of the photo failed I guess. Ro was saying why is the photo blueish purple. LOL! I dunoo!

My first attempt at using the scallop scissors and I almost had cramps in my arms and hand. Too stressful I must say to ensure that it is cut in a straight line..

See the purplish and blueish photo? lol! so much for being creative...

Flowers from Leena again! I can foresee even more flowery LO to come!
PS: Intended to have the background of the layout to be horizontal. Somehow vertical looked better.. What do you think?

Flower and lace..

Flowers, swirls and lace. My favourite combi. Scrap this just before I went to bed yesterday. Poor Ro had to endure the bright light shinning on him. I love this photo as it's taken at an angle that makes my face looks sharp. Muster my courage to use my favourite paper from Prima. I have been keeping this piece for the longest time as i find it exceptionally beautiful.

Finally using some of the flowers I got from Leena. Flower Power!

Prima swirls never fails to add some glamour and girly touch to any layout.

Used the left over hamblys from Leena's canvas class previously to enhance my title. Seriously, i'm not too sure if i spelt the restaurant's name correctly but I'm just too tired to log on to check. lol! I love this layout. Do you??
