It's Black & White!

Here it is, my black and white wedding LO. Did it on 5th December and here are the pictures as promised.

Prima vines with additional white prima roses that I have glimmer misted with Tattered Angel's Graphite glimmer mist. Love the rock candy feel on the leaves.

Layering, distressing and rolling. I had fun doing this LO.

Saving papers, this is how the back of my LO looks. Simple simple LO for some fast scrapping. Love it!

Delia's Korea Album

A commissioned album by Delia. Took me quite long to piece it together. This is the front cover. Don't you love the scrabble tiles?

Holiday is fun! I agree~!

The Hou Family's Portrait

A house warming cum Christmas gift for a long long friend. Eleanor was my poly 3rd year mate who helped did all my projects. LOL! Using Webster's pages Sweet Season - a candy party and Prima's Flights of Fancy Collection - Firefly papers.

Love the color stickles that emphasize the ornaments on the mannequin.

Beautiful roses enhanced by Stickles.

Lovely knitted lace from Daiso enhances the photo.

Different levels of 3d foam dots made the art piece difficult. As many as 4 layers of foam dots were used. Do you like this?

Jay & Gen

A shadow box gift for Miss Gen. Using Sassafrass papers.

Paper Market Alpha-bites in cookie fudge. I always have to apply more glue at the back of chipboard thickers. Do you?

Love this little deer. Diamond collar me loves.

Diamond studs accentuates the rays while stickles bring out the flowers.

Pop up dots for focus and diamension. I've lost touch with shadow boxes. Practise is what I need.

~ Christmas Tags ~

Year 2010 Christmas tags. Gingerbread men! I was going to post a step-by-step guide on the making of them but they're so easy to make that I decided not to. LOL!

Simply paint them and let dry. Distress with distress ink at the sides for the baked feel, paint on the eyes and mouth. Draw the white icing on using a white pen and viola! Done!
Stick on my colleague's initials for the personalised feel, add a few blings, tie a ribbon and stamp my name and we're good to go! So cute I kept one for myself! Hope you like it!

~ Mr Button the driver ~

Been wanting to scrap these photos for a long time but with all the various activities around me, I've taken a hiatus from scrapping. Beautiful papers to match these wonderful pictures.

You'll recognise it looks similar to the LO that I've done for my aunt. I actually wanted to scrap an exact piece to keep but somehow I keep thinking these papers suit Button's photos more. Glossy accented the cars and applied stickles ot make it stand out more.

Stitches done painstakingly. LOL!

Pop-ups used. Been ages since I used them as they always made the album pages too tight to fit another LO with pop-up. Have another piece of LO with my pre-wedding photo done but I forgot to take a photo before keeping it in the album. Oh well, maybe the next round I'll take it out and snap a picture for you girls to view. Till then, take care!

Melissa's Shadow Box

My first commissioned shadow box. Pretty Melissa wanted to do a frame for her wedding picture. Beautiful Prima's Annalee Collection papers - Avondale came in nicely. Fitting her theme to a T! Nice glorious blue with blooming roses.. Perfect for a wedding theme! I bought 2 pieces of this paper hoping to use it for my wedding album too!

A shadow box made up of mainly Prima products. Prima roses, Prima chipboard and Prima papers.. Added 2 Maya road pins to accentuate the roses!

I love her gown.. Notice the mosquito netting? I misted it with Tattered Angel's Moonlight glimmer mist and added blings to it for a fairytale like feel.

How do I ensure I do not use too much mist? I put the netting in a plastic bag and sprayed the mist in. 'Massage' the netting thru the bag to ensure it soaks up the excess mist.. Tadah! Nicely misted gown! Hope you like it!

Happy Birthday!

An LO done as a gift to my Aunt. Using Prima's Road Trip Collection - Road Trip papers. My aunt (dad's younger sister) and my dad shares the same birth date! Just a difference of 1 year. This year, there was an impromptu meet up to have dinner and celebrate together! Their very first time celebrating together in 54 years! Was planning to do an exact same LO for my dad to keep but captured some pics of Button that would suit the theme even better.

Love this little red car! Just like we took Dad's taxi to the restaurant (Red cabby) :) Check out the Longchamp bag in the car..

My mum gave the suggestion to place the photos like this! So happy that she joined in the fun of scrapbooking. I had initially placed the family photo on top and clutter the small photos at the bottom. Mum had suggested to put the main leads on top and trim the family photo. Love the effect!

Just have to highlight to you guys on the little doggy in the blue car.. Cute ain't it? Reminds me of the 2 dogs we left at home.. Poco and Button.. Poor guys don't get to celebrate with us.

Check out my sewing. My very first sewing on paper! 2 sets of this took me one full day. Firstly, using a pencil, trace the line/pattern you would like to sew. Next, using a paper piercer, pierce holes which you will use to sew. Erase all pencil markings after you have finish piercing. Sew as per normal using the holes punched. Tadah! Sewing on LO! Hope you liked it!~

~ Love Binds Us ~

My very last Websters' Pages paper.. Been hoarding the load of them for some time and I'm so glad to be able to use them for my pre-wedding photoshoot photos. Title came from the seam bindings I've used (bought from fellow scrapper Lynn.. Super talented beautiful babe).

I sewed part of the seam binding onto the LO.. My first attempt at sewing! Prima roses and pins from MWL.. Love them!

Hambly transparencies that I have been hoarding.. Yes! I'm a hoarder.. I love buying.. and can't bear to use to scrap.. but slowly de-stashing now.. Making space for new stuff to come! Don't you love the lace hambly?

Cheapo Angie is here again.. Used a 'J' to replace the letter 'L'.. can't bear to break into a new pack of thickers.

My little fairy on the little tortoise.. Simple simple LO that took me a month to complete.. for lack of inspiration and of habit of wanting to put loads of stuff on it.... Hope you like it!

My Promise...

A Layout using the sketch from Jana Eubank for MWL's Scrap Dare #4 hosted by Piradee. Using pp from Webster's Pages - Seaside Retreat (hide & seek) and also Basic grey's Cappella (Dolce).

Love my glitter thickers.. Ro says it's an ugly shade of green but I love it!
Slight variation to the sketch. I've placed 3 additional small photos.. It doesn't look complete without them :)

Look at the little sea-horsie.. Cute isn't it? So suitable for this photo of ours. Our pre-wedding photoshoot at Deasaru. Oh, did I mention the lace trim that I bought from MWL? Gorgeous shade of brown!

With loads of space for journaling, I made Ro help me copy the wedding vows that we are going to read out on our big day. Now I've a nice big wedding Vows LO to use on the actual day! Love this LO!

True Love

Using Websters' Pages (Life's Portrait - Imagine your life) with Prima blooms and swirl.. True love is living the life that you have imagined.

Prima's Lillput Roses Marshmallow glimmer misted with Tattered Angel's Bubbles, and tea roses peach frost together with Prima's SIIP Swirls.

Love this effect. Real veil flowing out from the photo!

Love the blue eggs.. Robin's eggs I think. Notice the little birdie at the left hand corner? My take for MWL's Scrap Dare #3 :)
