Dreamland...

Been wanting to scrap on Button for the longest time. This is my treasured paper. Bought just for him :)
I love my sun. Used Stickles (Diamond) to create the swirl and stuck the ropes on as rays.

Cut these animals one by one. I'm good at cutting aint i? Love the piggy.. kekeke

Check out the pop up used. It's originally just a piece of paper. Cut it up for more dimensions.

Don't you love the little lamb? My mum's so excited about this layout that she wants to display it immediately! Realised she only likes the cute layouts of mine.. Childish! Whahaha...

3 in a row?

A sudden inspiration. Finger painting. Abstract art of marigolds..

He's a star in my eyes. Red stars to emphasize his nice stripped clothes.

A layout done for Sketch challenge #2 at MWL.

Traced this flower out using my painting palatte. Glossy accent on Hot Tomato's Logo.

Cosmic Criket's accent. Nice cherry stalks to go with my red pattern paper.

Distressed photo mat to emphasize the various colors.
Do you like it? Simple me... Simple mojos for the layouts..

Ice Edge Cafe

Ice Edge Cafe at Kovan. Following one of the sketch for 52 weeks 52 sketches. I am trying to do a layout a week but with the impending Chinese New Year coming, it is getting difficult. What with the painting and the spring cleaning.

Popped up one of the flower and one of the photo of the ice cream.

Distressed the edges and inked it to give a worn out look. This layout gave me alot of headache. Dont know if its because I am running out of scrapping mojo?

Using up my old stash of Sassafrass alpha.. Do you see the pink distress ink that I used? I love it. Bought it specially for Nana's shadow box project and i'm glad i get to use it again.

Boys will be boys

Happy happy zoo layout! All papers used are from the 2009 scrap calendar that Ro got me from US. Dont you love the party feel.

I cut each animal out individually and positioned the monkey above the giraffe. Seems like the place to be. Kekekeke.. applied stickles sparingly to emphasize the spots of the giraffe and the lion's mane.

Did the splatter paint at the background. Wanted to add red but was thinking will it look bloody? Mat Jerren's photo twice to bring out the photo. I heart the title alot!

The balloons came without the string and I had to improvise. Ok right?

Bubble fun!

Bubble time. A photo of Jerren enjoying his bath in a small little basin. I really had to think hard to design a layout for him. I've ran out of ideas on layout for little boy. Thankfully, the photo itself is self explanatory. Kekeke..

Cut out glitter circles from one of the papers i hoarded previously and pasted them all about. To make the circles stand out from the white cardstock, I emphasized it using black pen and added Robin's nest gem to make the whole layout more lively. Dont u love these nest gem?

Sassfrass alphas never fail to add a touch of happiness to the layout after being coated with glossy accent. Yep, i'm a glossy accent freak. Whahahahaha...

I'm on a scrapping roll!

Yesh!!! I am on a scrapping roll. I scrapped one layout a day for the past 2 days and today I did 2 layouts for a shadow box!

Got a few pictures from Jenna to help her do a few layouts of her son so that she can change whenever she feels like it. Low cost layout though cause auntie angie is cutting down on scrapbook expenses.
Robots! I bought this paper previously not knowing what I need it for. Was deliberating if I can use it for some of button's layout but till now never really scrap much about button :P

Chose a blue background to match Jerren's clothes. I love the toothless smile of his.

Cut out the various robots from the paper and sticked them together. Pop them up against the photo. Kinda regret not doing different heights of pop up only after I was done with this portion.

Carried out my previous idea and this robot is on a different level with the background. Cut out a heartshape from one of my scraps and used stickles to make it stand out.

I loveeee foam thickers but I ran out of them. Ro says he can tell super clearly i am trying to save on thickers. Isit that ugly?

Monsters! A piece inspired by the Monstrosity class I went at MWL. Basically used the leftover papers from the class to do this piece. Do you like it?
Jerren's at the age where he can walk on his own and loves walking. Jena was saying he would smile whenever he's walking. Such a good natured boy!
Can you see that I have replaced 'A' using the number '4'?

Yep, no more 'E' thus '&' was used to replace.

Love this cluster of monsters. Had a hard time thinking which to place where.

2 little monsters looking at Jerren.. Kekekekeke...

Kenny Rogers..

Kenny Rogers Roasters. A layout done using the sketch from #52 sketches 52 weeks 2009 version. Found tis webby too late and they have stopped the sketches starting 2010. Well, old sketches are still usable!
This title is a photo I took of the restaurant logo on the menu. I glossy accent it and left it to dry on the table. When I reached home after lunch, I noticed a huge hole on it. Itchy finger mummy was puzzled how come I was able to buy Kenny Rogers' embellishment and tried to touch it since it looks jelly. She didnt realise the mess she did till i screech! Whahaha.. Luckily not much harm done. I topped the hole up with glossy accent and although u cant see it here, it is flawed.

I used the leftover blings from the previous workshop to make tis swirl. nice? cant tell right?
Added stickles to the various leaves and swirls to add dimensions.

First Layout of 2010

The HandBurger. My food layout to document what is sold there and what we ordered. A mini joint effort with Rowan. New year new partnership!

Do you like this burger? Ro made it. He made it using scraps of different coloured cardstock and i glossy accent it to make it look like an embellishment. But later on I tried to outline it with black pen and it looks horrendous, so i had to re-gloss it to show the layer. Kinda happy with how it turn out.
I actually glimmer misted it green but it wasnt outstanding on the red background. So i tot to use a marker to 'outline' the words. Ended up super ugly so I coloured the whole title black.

Finally found the chance to use this edge studs swirl. Like it? just nice to frame the menu of the restaurant.
Splatter paint the background pattern paper with yellow paint to make the whole layout brighter. Especially love this cluster. Nice? Did it at the corridor late at night. Whahahaha..

Speech bubbles to show what we have ordered. Hand cut and hand written by me :)

PS: I've submitted this for MWL's sketch#1 of 2010.
